Natural Beauty: A Harmonious Blend of Nature and Architecture

Interior Design Meets Natural Elements in Hsin-Pei Chiang and Shang-En Yang's Award-Winning Salon

Located on the ground floor of a new building in Dazhi, Natural Beauty is a hairdressing salon that stands out for its innovative design. The 4.2-meter-high indoor space has been skillfully extended by the designers through the use of a mezzanine architectural structure. The result is a spacious working area that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The designers have made use of a variety of natural construction materials to create a calming and stress-free environment. The large green wall, curved display stand with artificial turf on top, and wood grain textures all contribute to a consistent and harmonious space. The salon's interior design is further enhanced by the use of mirrors and lighting, which create a pleasing ambiance.

Despite the challenges of creating a private VIP area within the salon, the designers have managed to effectively use the available space. The sliding door and the storage space under the stairs not only provide privacy but also add to the overall design of the salon. The delicate interior design makes hairstyling a pleasant experience for customers.

The project, which was completed in January 2016, has been recognized for its innovative design. It was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
